Sweet Bennett boy was a super champ at his newborn session with Leah Islinger Photography! He was a perfect little chunky baby and his big sister was as sweet as sugar too!
Bennett and his family traveled from Green Bay to my Little Chute Studio and spent the morning with me for his newborn session. He breezed through his prop poses and straight onto the 'table poses'. The table poses are the ones on the different colored blankets. I aim for three different colors for these and I plan them according to the color palette you tell me that you like.
In order, he did a froggie, a timber, a bum up, into a side lie (on yellow) and forward facing. This is the general posing flow that I use with all babies, as they allow me to. After that, I wrap them up in what I call the 'potato' pose because they look like a round little potato. I do one of those on the table (the light blue) and then depending on baby's disposition I may quickly change the top wrap to do one in a prop before changing the top wrap once again for the flokati (the fluffy rugs) images. I love adding a small little stuffie because it's just too cute not to! And I always add a sleepy hat because they are my favorite too!!
I cannot wait to start my 2023 photography season! I already have newborns on my calendar but would love to schedule a session for your new little sweetheart!
