The First Birthday session is a super fun way to celebrate your baby's big day! These sessions are approximately 1-1.5 hours long & can include the fun cake smash at the end! You will be presented with up to 25-40 (estimated) final preview images in a private online gallery. This session can include an immediate family photo. These sessions take place in my Little Chute studio.

This session requires a session fee retainer at booking. This session fee retainer does not include any digital images, prints or products & is not applied toward your session order - it is the cost for your scheduled session day/time and is non-refundable. We will begin with the regular photos of your new 1-year-old - standing up, sitting on a chair, etc... I will coordinate a few different backdrops (3-4) to go with any outfits that you are planning to use (please limit to 3). I also provide toddler-sized outfits in the studio for client use.

Then, if you wish, we will finish with a special & most times hilarious ‘first birthday cake smash! The smash cake is provided by me. I order a yellow cake with the 'naked frosting' look as this prevents choking and lessens their sugar intake. I top it off with a cute cake topper.

If you desire a 'theme' for the cake smash setup we can discuss what you are looking for and make a plan. The set for the cake smash can be simple with just a row of colorful balloons in the back or if you have a particular theme in mind that can be the backdrop as well. I do have an assortment of themed cake smash backdrops in the studio. 

After the cake smash we end with a bubble bath for more fun photos but most importantly to clean them up before their ride home!

Cakes are provided by Manderfields and frosted as 'naked cakes' only, to prevent choking.
