It was the biggest pleasure in my career to see this family again! I first met them when they were looking for a maternity photographer for their oldest baby. I not only took their maternity photos but I photographed Jacob's first year as well! I remember he had the cutest Mickey Mouse cake smash ever & I made a matching Mickey bunting banner to hang behind him! Not long after that they moved to another state & I was so sad. While they were away they had those gorgeous twins girls! But recently they moved back to the area and mom reached out to schedule new family photos and I was so excited to see them again!
I am not kidding when I say these little children are so polite and sweet and intelligent! UGH, I could have taken them straight home with me! LOL
When they arrived and I saw those sweet girls in their fairy-like dresses I squealed. I LOVE that mama let them dress up like this with the flower crowns and all. On my website I have a paragraph that says: "In a family photograph, I want to show love, to capture the laughter and life. When you look back on your photographs years down the road I want you to be able to remember the emotions of that day just by looking at your expressions and body language. Be you, be real and be fun!"
This is what I mean....have fun with your wardrobe, let your littles dress up, let them giggle & be silly -- because 10, 15, 20 years from now when they are graduating high school or moving out or having their own babies you will look back on THESE photos and smile and remember all the love you had for those little people. I want you to look back and say "I am really glad I let them dress up that day because they were so happy about it and felt so pretty." I don't think Jacob minded his sweater either - he is a handsome little dude - do you know he plays a mean violin? He's quite talented!
I can't not mention their parents either....two of the kindest people I have ever met and it was so nice to catch up a little bit. Stellar job at parenting mom & dad - your kiddos are brilliant :) I look forward to seeing you all again!
I can schedule a family session for you and your family! I'd love to chat about it! Email me here!
