I had Danielle's older sister in front of my camera just a few short years ago and Danielle was just as amazing as she was. She had many ideas of her own and knew what she wanted which is awesome! It was really important to Danielle to be able to have some of her portraits taken at the track where she runs. So we chose one park location to use in order to get back across town in time to use the track before the sun set. Everything worked out perfectly!
Danielle and her mom had all of her wardrobe changes planned out so changes were quick and effortless. We roamed around the park for about an hour before we high-tailed it back across town to the school. While I think she enjoyed her time at the park I could tell that on this track was really where Danielle's heart was! She absolutely glowed taking the photos there - I even recall her mom saying that she was 'worried' Danielle would only want to choose all of her portraits from this location!
This was my first time photographing a runner and it was so much fun! My very favorite image was with all of her running shoes. In fact, at the park she told me she had decided against that photo and left her shoes at home, I displayed my disappointment and apparently on their way to the school Danielle called her sister up and she brought all her shoes over to the track to meet us there! I am so happy she did because it was such fun & just something a little different to add to her gallery.
I hope your Senior year is as amazing as you are Danielle! I look forward to seeing your photo on the big screen at graduation! Go Papermakers!
