Kaitlyn & Chase are the loveliest couple and I enjoyed their maternity session so much! Since it was going to be chilly, it was December, and I really wanted to photograph a gorgeous 'wintery' maternity gown I asked Kaitlyn if I ordered one for her session if she'd wear it - she of course said yes so I let her choose the color & style and it turned out beautifully! The fur 'shawl' really added to the look & feel of the session too! We had all hopes for a little snow that day and while Mother Nature did not follow thru, their day ended up so pretty anyway!

I added wintery/holiday flowers to the peacock chair to add a little bit of seasonal decor to their session & Kaitlyn brought along a little floral belt to add to the gown - I loved it!! And while we did not have snow on the ground we did have ice on the water!

I have already had the pleasure of meeting & photographing their new little baby but you will have to stay tuned for that blog post all of its own! They were such a gorgeous young couple at their maternity session but their newborn session held a different level of beauty!
