A few years ago I took family photos of Nathan's mom & dad with their new puppy and just a few months ago mom brought Nathan in for his own newborn session! He was what I call an 'older newborn' at (if I recall correctly) 7 weeks old. This is still a completely doable age as long as we have a sleepy baby and little Nathan slept like a rock! He had a few poses with his mama and then I was able to still squish him into a few props and one outfit - he was a big boy with fantastic hair!!

I could just eat him up he is so cute! I am still in love with all of his setups and poses. Picking out props, colors and different fabrics is one of my most favorite parts about planning newborn sessions. I like to try to do things a little differently for each client. I take my clients' color preferences and go from there. Nathan looked so good in all of the colors his mom requested! If you have ever seen my wall shelving full of my table posing fabrics, well, I think it is one of the prettiest things in my studio LOL  I included a photo below of my wall of color :)
